This book is a study of biblical interpretation in Irenaeus of Lyons, one of the earliest and more formative theologians of the church. It explores the intertextual nature of Irenaeus's interpretation of Genesis 1-3, showing how he reads the story of Scripture in light  the earliest chapters.
